This summer, UBCO is hosting workshops for the Banff International Research Station (BIRS).

Ten research workshops will be held in a variety of areas in mathematics, computer science, statistics and theoretical physics from mid-May through mid-August.

MSRI-BIRS SUMMER SCHOOL

The MSRI-BIRS Graduate Summer School will be held here from July 31 to August 12. This is a joint venture of the Banff International Research Station and the Mathematical Sciences Research Institute.

Classes will be held in ART 386.
